About the Scholarship
The Byron and Karen Smith Memorial Scholarship is named in honor of Byron and Karen Smith, both life-long residents of the Colonel Crawford School District.
Byron was a graduate of North Robinson High School in 1955 and Karen graduated from Whetstone High School in 1959. They were a proud farming couple in the Colonel Crawford School District. Byron and Karen valued a college education and made sure their three daughters and granddaughter had the opportunity to receive a college degree.
Through the support and generosity of many people, Byron and Karen's family established this scholarship to award $1,000.00 annually to a graduate of Colonel Crawford High School, North Robinson, Ohio.
