Scholarships
Students from schools in Crawford County, Richland County, and Morrow County (with stipulations and exceptions as detailed in individual scholarship descriptions) are eligible for these scholarships. Applications for all scholarships are available at Galion High School, regardless of school applicant attends.
Annual amounts of awards may vary from those listed; all scholarships may not be awarded each year, depending on structure of fund and stipulations of award, as well as application pool.
Awarded to a deserving female graduate of Galion High School pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering – including but not limited to Mechanical, Aerospace, Civil, Environmental, Industrial, Bio-Medical, Computer and Materials.
The Georiga (Wilt) Roads Memorial Scholarship is a $1000 scholarship to be awarded annually to one (1) graduate of Colonel Crawford High School and resident within that district beginning in 2020.
The Byron D. Smith Memorial Scholarship is a $1,000 scholarship awarded to a graduate of Colonel Crawford High School.

The Chad Thomas Grix memorial scholarship awards $1000 x 1 year to a student who has been active in the GHS Music program.
The Edna Price Beck Scholarship is a $1500 to $2000 scholarship awarded to a Galion High School Senior.
The Bils-Frombaugh Scholarship is a $500 scholarship awarded to a Wynford High School FFA member.
