Growing Our Community
The Galion Community Foundation (GCF) is a permanent, charitable foundation
established to improve the quality of life for the area citizens.
We support local initiatives for the Galion community.
The Galion Community Foundation administers grants, scholarships, funds, and endowments to help improve quality of life for students and local organizations.
The Galion Community Foundation (GCF) was formed in 1957. It is a charitable organization pursuant to Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. All donations are tax deductible.
Through its all volunteer board, the GCF administers over twenty (20) different funds and is always willing to add additional special funds or accept donations to its general fund. Thirteen of the funds provide scholarships; the rest assist local charities.
Unless otherwise directed by donors, the GCF seeks to preserve the principal of the funds. Money donated will earn income in perpetuity to benefit our area students and community.
